Awkwafina is an American actress and musician. She began by releasing hilarious, intelligently composed music that tackled questions of racial identity as well as sexual orientation. Then she expanded her audience to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants who resided in Forest Hills Queens. Her first encounter with music was through the instrument of trumpet. Apart from the early television shows such as Girl Code and Tawk, she's been featured in films like Neighbors2Storks as well as Bad Rap.
